Ok. I didn't see a thread with this issue. I just noticed while on the lake yesterday that text messages never got pushed to my phone if it was sent while I had no network coverage. My mom sent two texts and I never got them. All of my older phones on Verizon would push them to me once I was back in coverage. Any ideas?

    Probably a problem with AT&T.
Try turning on Airplane Mode and send some texts to your phone using another.

Ya thats odd I would think that would be a carrier problem, I suppose it could somehow be the phone. Try and test it out some more and let us know I'm interested to hear.

My wife is in Alaska right now and had same problem. Called verizon and the rep stated that anything out of network would not send/receive. Rep had her try turning phone to roaming and turning off wi-fi and then it worked flawlessly. Try that. So I am sure it is a carrier problem.

I switched roaming on and will test this weekend as I will be out of network coverage again. My mom uses an iPhone don't know if that is an issue as well.

ok, this is strange. I have a buddy and his texts are not coming through. I am in coverage. I have stood next to him while he sends txt and it will not come through. He gets my texts just fine. I went to Verizon store to troubleshoot. There are no blocks on the number, we have tried removing sim and restarting etc. The stranger thing is, while we were troubleshooting, one txt out of 5 did come through. Not sure what is going on. Any help is appreciated.
