Tap to Focus on 928

Does the camera on the 928 have tap to focus functionality ? When I tap my screen, I do not have a focus box appear. I only get a focus box in the middle of the screen when I depress the camera button halfway. Am I doing something wrong or missing something ?

It's a camera option under photos+camera I believe.

That "focus box" appears only when you focus with the camera button. When you tap the screen you don't get any focus box, because the camera focuses directly on the subject, which is not necesarily in the middle of the screen.

There is a "Tap Screen to take pictures and videos" option. When I had that enabled and tried to touch the screen to focus, the camera would of course take the picture.

Am I hearing correctly that if I enable the "Tap" option and then tap the screen on the thing I want to focus on that the camera knows what I am tapping on and focuses accordingly ?
