Verizon's LTE boosted in 'major markets' by new frequency, hits 80 Mbps down
Verizon just announced they're starting to roll out their new AWS spectrum in a few markets and that updates to enable it on existing devices would be coming soon. The 928 was one of the devices they announced would get it so do you think they'll bundle it in with GDR3/Bittersweet Shimmer like they did the group text fix with Amber?
More importantly, do you think if they did do that would it cause any sort of delay with the update. With as good as they were releasing Amber I'd hate to end up in the same situation the AT&T 920 was.

Hopefully VZW will be better in terms of updates than AT&T.

Nokia received permission from the FCC: ID QMNRM-860 (Approved Feb 22, 2013) for an in the field software upgrade that would enable LTE band 4 (UL 1710-1755 Mhz, DL 2110-2155 MHz) on the Lumia 928. I contacted Nokia Care and received the following reply.

"I hope for your kind understanding as for now, there is no such information available in our end regarding the radio software upgrade enabling AWS on the Lumia 928." Josh (10:07:56)
