Anyone figure out how to get the SMS/MMS to work on t-mobile?

I've looked and looked, but everything appears to be out dated.

It's hit or miss for SMS on all speeds including 2G. MMS won't work at all and if I try to send an MMS then my SMS won't work after.

Anyone know where I can find correct APN settings or anything? Anything I can do to get this to work?

I was just experimenting with this after Black update. I'm on Ptel btw which is T-Mobile MVNO.

First off I have the ptel apn set up via access point.

I tried sending a test mesg to check my balance with "highest connection speed" set at 3G and as usual, unable to send a txt mesg.

Then I tried LTE as highest speed even though ptel doesnt do LTE.

It worked but I tried an MMS after and same thing you mention - it fails to send and then tried SMS and didnt send either.

So still kinda gimped. Being on paygo I normally keep data off and rely on wifi.

Try installing access point app. It usually does the job.

It worked for when you selected LTE because phone was not having any connection or 2G connection established when you sent msg. I have 928 and have same behaviour.

I also have access point installed...tried creating new APN profile but none worked.
