I have put plenty of songs into my 928 and do listen on headphones or the blue tooth connection in the car. It seems that whenever I do play music, unless I shut the phone entirely off and turn it back on, the music will always appear on the main screen whenever I hit the volume up or down button. If I'm on my main live tile screen and hit the volume up or volume down, on the top of the screen, the last song that was playing will appear and I have to slide the screen up and down to get it to go away. I do hold down the backspace on the bottom of the phone to shut off any previous screens/apps I was in and the music would be one of them, but the last of current song will still appear when I hit the volume button/bar on the side.
Is there any way to stop this from happening, or do I just need to shut the phone off and then back on or do a soft reset to get it to go away?
Thanks for any help in advance.

There are a few apps which do just what you're looking for. Search for 'stop music'.
