black screen of death?

I had my phone full charge listening to music and my phone completely shut off and unresponsive to any soft and hard reset , I charged it and it only displays the red low battery signal. After an hour of charging I tried doing a manual reset and nothing.I currently have 8.1 , has anyone had this issue

I had a similar problem with my l920. I charged it before I went to sleep and when I woke up the phone was off and only battery indicator showing. I took it to nokia care and they replaced the battery.

I've had my phone shut off like that but once I plugged it in, it restarted when I held power & down vol. I reboot my phone daily - I've only had it crash 2, maybe 3 times. It always comes back & now my marketplace is updating & notifying me of updates again (thanx to last crash, during a screenshot)
