Seperation of Sound and Bluetooth sound? Is it possible?

Here's the dilemma. I'm playing music to through my phone via Bluetooth to a Bluetooth speaker. I want to make a video of my kids singing the song but when I go into my camera app and start the video the music cuts out for the video to record. Is there a way to record while still playing the music?

As far as I'm aware there's no way to record video without this happening. You could try using different camera software, like Nokia Camera as opposed to the Default Camera, but it might just interrupt the Bluetooth signal no matter what you use.
