Lumia 928 Mobile 10, Why does my screen go black when making a call?

Lumia 928 Mobile 10, Screen goes black when making a call.

My screen on the Lumia 928 goes black when making a call. I cannot use keypad or anything else when making a call. I also cannot end calls. Anyone else having this issue. I am upgraded to the most recent build.

This sounds like your proximity sensor is being covered either by a screen protector or that portion of the screen is dirty and may be in need of cleaning.

If a film has built up on that part of the surface, it can trick the proximity sensor into believing that the phone is at your ear, and it will blank the screen to prevent you from accidentally pressing buttons while on the phone.
