I am waiting for a good 800 or 900 phone to come out after Build as well. If nothing, I'll get an Icon through work - sigh finally will be on VZW:-(

Moneypenny would be 630? Goldfinger 930? And Martini maybe 730?

Hope 930 is what 920 is for the actual Lumia line but something more like a 925 with 4,7" screen, obviously more powerfull, better battery and better camera, that's all i ask. Don't need 6.0" screen and 4K resolution, and that kind of stuff.

It will probably just be a globally released Lumia icon, with some added features.

First: Evleaks didn't say that this Martini device will be a "launching" WP8.1 device.

Second: Please, IT HAS TO BE a Lumia 730! Or even a Lumia 830! This family ranges deserves an update.
i would love 730, but i cannot imagine anything more that i want for my daily use.
anyway, it would be definitely better to have 730 or 830 rather than 630 which is already in the news (leaks). i mean, 620 is already not much hit in the market, why and 625 - a good update is in the market, why would we need 630.

I am so over all this 720 upgrade nonsense.

The 820 is in line to get updated before the 720. It came out way before your lightweight popped up

Indeed, it feels like Nokia sort of forgot about the mid-range, they've only been doing high-end and low-end recently, so with the launch of 8.1 I think they really should make a 730 and 830.

I'm waiting on these phones before I jump on a 1520 (RM-938 - I refuse to buy the ATT-crippled version). That has been my ideal phone for some time now (currently using a 920). I just haven't been able to justify snagging one yet, knowing there are new phones on the way.

I'm like you, i have a 920 and i really want a 1520, it's not my ideal size of phone but i want it, also, if i were living in the US i'd probabbly have a 1520 but here we do not have it and buying it unlocked costs like 1200U$S.

Yeah. I mean, all I want is a lumia 1520 but 5 inches. Call it whatever you want, but it better have microSD and Glace, and all the other stuff the Icon lacks!

and with removable battery, with those specs, that phone can easily be 2+ year phone. I would have the need to buy another phone

Just to add a bit of humor to this discussion, I'm waiting for the model named "P***y Galore. Now that phone should be RED, removable everything and sing you to sleep.

    Night night Ax.

Obviously Smartphone users are too young to get the connection of my comment above. She was a character in one of the early Sean Connery James Bond movies. Sometimes I forget just how old I am. LOL

Mid range is probably what I'll be getting. I hope the 830 will have a quad-core processor, a better camera and Gorilla Glass.

Yup! Non removable batteries are usually better quality, and I like them more. As long as it's big, I'll be okay. :)

I like non removable batteris too, i like my smartphone to be a one single sleek piece and not a plastic in the back like Samsung horrible phones. And what's the big advantage from having a removable battery? If you change it to one bigger it will make your phone bigger and have to use another back.

The point is that in case battery suddenly dies or loses capacity over time, you can easily get it out and insert a new one. With unibody phones, you literally have to disassemble your phone to access the battery, or leave it to professionals. That's pretty much the only advantage of the removable battery that I can think of...
