There's only one 930 model, the international one. You should be able to get LTE on Rogers or Bell (band 7 2600MHz).

I can't confirm this first hand (yet), my 930 is arriving tomorrow :)

And yes, Canada gets no love, *sigh*.

So, once I move to Canada, my factory unlocked 930 will work in the Great White North?

Thanks for the reply. The reason I asked is because on my 1520 on rogers there was no way to get MMS to work and I was hoping that was not the case with the 930. My white 930 should be delivered by end of this week! Cheers,

I thought Telus has LTE/4G now? My gf is with them in Ontario and gets LTE.

The 3 major carriers up here all have LTE, but they use band 4 which the 930 DOES NOT support. In fact almost all of North America is predominantly band 4 LTE. There's a few differences but if you want 100% LTE compatibility your device needs to support band 4.

HOWEVER, Rogers and Bell also have I think limited band 7 LTE support which the 930 DOES have. I say limited because I think those bands are only in major cities but not everywhere.

Thanks for clarification.

Looks like I'm stuck on a carrier with band 7 or get the Nokia Lumia 1520 RM-938 (with LTE AWS) from www.omegacell.com/

As far as I know all the 930 have the same bands regardless of which country it's from. It's purely an international model with international frequencies so there is no 930.3 variant like there is for the 1520

Bonjour Mazobo,

What is your 1520 variant? if a RM-937, only one compatible LTE band with Rogers (7) (i think from what i can read), could it be that with probably no LTE available then MMS don't works? And if it's the case, the 930 have the same bands as the 1520 RM-937.

Rogers LTE band : 4, 7, 17

930 LTE band: 1, 3, 7, 8, 20.
Nokia Lumia 930 Specifications - Nokia

1520 RM-937 band : 1, 3, 7, 8, 20
1520 RM-938 band : 2, 4, 5, 7, 17

So am ?I right to say that the 1520 RM-938 is the one with greater chance of compatibility with Rogers? It?s actually our best choice here in Canada for high-end Lumia?

Yes, the RM-938 variant is better. See my post somewhere up there that mentions Omegacell.
