If anyone recalls, AT&T's Lumia 1520 was gimped, but there was another 1520 (RM-938) that supported AT&T's LTE bands - it was a model intended for Latin American markets. Is there any hope of something similar happening with the 930? I'd like to upgrade my 920, but losing LTE would be a bit undesirable.

Does the "Icon" not do this?
    (genuine question, I don't know!)

Not on AT&T. The Icon is a Verizon exclusive, heavily branded and only comes in black and white.

I think it's very possible considering the Latin American pages on Nokia's website do show the 930 as an option, and it was officially unveiled in countries like Brazil. But when it'll be out? That's anyone's guess. If you'll recall, the unicorn 1520 (which I own) wasn't out until about 5 or 6 months after the 1520 was first released. That's an eternity in tech years. By the time the unicorn 930 is out in Latin America there will likely be a few new devices announced. Depending on when it does finally come out in Latin America, I may be switching as well.

P.S. Pants aren't always good, necessarily.

Is it? I've heard it was announced there but not actually out. Can you confirm?
