My screen broke - looking for advice

Well, my phone dropped - my fault - still got an HTC 8X somewhere... I think

anyway:


Now - panic time !
The touch still works, the screen works, just this green tint that spreads (!) .

I'm not worried about opening it up and replacing the screen, I'm not even sure if the warranty covers such a thing.

So, now what?
Where can I buy a replacement screen ?

China. I forget the company name, but there is one you will find, sells both OEM and cheaper copy screens, digitisers and more. I got one (OEM) and as far as I can tell its identical to the original. Quite easy to change, but it is easier to buy screen plus digitiser to avoid having to fit them together... It took only a few days to get to me.

How much does it cost ?

can't seem anyone that sells a screen for 930

Small update, this is how the screen looks now:


Waiting for a replacement screen from ebay

will update once my screen is replaced if I find any other issues (hopefully none).
