Changing the ROM will void your warranty and it may give you the negative results. Better you wait, as you see the update is releasing for every region periodically. I hope you'll get it soon!

Just received the 14353 firmware update this morning here in Australia! Purple tint issue has been resolved, and phone seems a little more responsive. Still had to uninstall the Display app which causes background brightness though...
