Contact privacy? Contacts private details ended up on another phone?

Hello there,

Lately I got the lumia 930 and as I added my contacts, I placed some private details for my kids and relatives like Passport numbers, houses location...etc

I was browsing my wife's lumia 530 and I found the exact same details I wrote on her phone.

How is that possible? The email addresses linked to each phone are different.

If it may help, my phone is linked to my Outlook and my Facebook. Her phone is linked to her Outlook and her Facebook.

Can someone explain how this may have happened occurred?

Are both phones linked to the same Windows account ?
That would do it if you have checked "sync contacts" etc.
