Which one is the better choice and future proof: Lumia 830 or 930?

which one is the better choice and future proof: lumia 830 or 930

Well, there isn't any difference in price at the moment. The 830 looks really nice and feels great in the hand. i couldn't get my hands on the 930. So my question is: which one is better

The 930 is better for the following reasons:

Twice as much storage.
Hardware is superior (so performance is better, it can handle more features)
Superior camera
AMOLED display (SUBJECTIVE - its higher res though)

However, the 830 has some things over the 930 that aren't trivial.
Removable battery, better battery life (although if its by a lot, I don't know)
It has half the storage at 16 GB, but has a microSD slot.
it works fine.
Removable back covers
LCD (SUBJECTIVE)
lighter I think
"Glance" mode, which sounds like a minor feature, but is something highly valued by many in the community.

I could be off on a point, but that's what I know off the top of my head.

Two things to add to xandros9's excellent breakdown.

1) 930 does not get LTE in the US (not sure if that matters to you)
2) 830 does not support "Hey Cortana" feature (not sure if that matters either)

I was just chatting with a mod from here on Skype and he just got a 830. He said he's impressed and this guy has probably handled every Windows Phone that has come along.

To me... I think the 830 looks very capable and I would buy one if that was my price point and I was looking.

The 930 os the better phone, but the 830 os impressive for its lower price.

I will highly sugest you to pick 930.
One reason: Flagship. 830 is MidFlagship. So..why would you go mid when you can go high(?).

Ps. I would go for 1520 and i will probably get rid of my 735 and get 1520. High is high for a reason.

If you're okay with waiting, I'd wait till summer for the next big one. Otherwise, I'd probably go for the 930. However, the glance screen tempts me on the 830. Glance is amazing and should be on every phone ever.
