Front camera improvement from the denim update?

I can see quite a lot of threads discussing the improvement (or deterioration) on rear camera of the Lumia 930 from the denim update, however, I wonder if the update has brought any noticeable changes on the front camera performance? I am seriously considering getting the 930 to replace my Xperia Z1 because most of the pictures posted here taken with 930 are really impressive. Nevertheless, one thing holding me back is the performance of the front camera as I do Skype and selfie with my friends a lot but I don't see a lot of samples taken with front camera being posted on here.

It would be grateful if any of you can share some of your thought or samples taken with the front camera.

For me Lumia 1520 has become real bad when it comes to taking selfies after denim update , it is really good until you take the picture , that's why I screen shot it

that's quite an innovative way to take a selfie
if said so i think there may be something wrong with the image processing
