Lumia 930 or Lumia 640?

Lumia 930 - better hardware and by now - probably a great price!

In one month, I will replace my L625. I am thinking to buy one of these two phones. Which is the right choice: Lumia 930 or Lumia 640? Thank you!

I had both the 930 and the 640, I sold my brother the 930 and kept the 640.

As a daily driver i have no problems using the 640, the camera and video are decent enough better actually than some high end Android phone's, battery life is good plus it be one of the first to get the Windows 10 update in the future.

While the 930 is a good phone, i would save your money buy the 640 now & wait until the 840 & 940 have launched in about 3 months time both will offer features that the 930 won't have.

I've been using the 930 for about 8 months now and now I'm considering a switch to the 640. Not because the 930 is a bad phone but because tmob 3G/HSPA service is horrible in my area. Tmob LTE is much stronger here. I have recently switched 4 of my family members over to the 640 and was really impressed with what you get. The only thing I'll really miss is wireless charging.

I'm really thinking about getting a Lumia 930. I'd really like to see the W10 flagships to be released first but patience has always been my weakness. This will possibly be my first Windows Phone.

We have both in our family and I actually like them both. My wife uses the 640 all the time and she is very impressed with it (GDR2 update installed). I use the 930 and like the camera on it but I do find space on the phone a bit of an issue. I have a lot of music and pictures on it and would love the card slot for expansion - I do put quite a lot of data on OneDrive as well.

I have had a number of issues with the 930 which hopefully Microsoft will fix if and when they ship GDR2 for it.

In terms of price performance then I think that the 640 is a really good option.
