    Just curious...

Are you not afraid you'll experience those infamous heat issues, or mega battery drain? Because the 930 isn't supported by Microsoft here in the U.S I believe in case of defect...

What made you buy a 930 to use in the U.S instead of just using an 830, or 1520?

I am in the US and moved from a 1020 to a 930, on AT&T about 2 months ago. For the most part I do not miss LTE speeds, but my usage is basically limited to audio streaming and rendering normal web pages. The 930 camera is fine and overall performance is spectacular. I have never experienced overheating. Battery drains quickly when using HERE Drive, where even when in the car charger it still drains faster than charging, but it was exactly the same on the 1020. The biggest battery drain under normal usage is when you take a lot of pictures - the battery may not last a full day if you take more than 40 pictures.

In short I am very happy I use the 930, and wish I had switched to it the day it came out.

1520 is champ in terms of battery. I recently was visiting chocholate factory in Austria and took 120 photos, when I started to take photos I had 30% of battery and when was finished 9% was left. Love 1520 and windows battery managment.

Using the 930 with a Straight Talk AT&T SIM in the US. Wasn't comfortable with the size of the 1520. At the time I purchased the 930, (found a very good deal on eBay), the 830 was only about $75 less. I just thought it was too expensive for the specs it brought to the table. As I have said before, I'm one of the lucky ones who do not have the issues others have reported with the 930. I've never had to send a phone back for a repair or defect in 8 years(knock wood) so that wasn't a consideration for me when purchasing. I buy Square Trade warranties for accidents and always buy unlocked phones outright and not on contract. The battery on the 930 is certainly not the greatest but I am neither a gamer nor an avid photographer, so it is just fine for me charging once a day. I love the screen, feel, weight and especially "hey Cortana". Overall very pleased with it. The 1520 has many strong supporters though, if you're ok with the size. I am also ok with the hspa+ speeds. It does get warm with extended browsing for me(emphasis on warm, not hot). Phew...sorry for the long-winded post.
