Think it will have RAW support?

Hello all, the 929 should have the same sensor as the 1520 it sounds like, and ship with GDR3/Black. Plenty of RAM and more storage than the US version of the 1520. Seems like it should support RAW shooting also, you think?

Yeah I see no reason why it wouldn't especially since Nokia's main focus and selling points is always the camera and its ability to do so much.

I only see one reason (dun dun dunnnn), Verizon. Would it make sense? No. Would it stop them? No. Of course we have no official announcement yet, so hopefully we find out sooner rather than later.

I see no reason Verizon would gimp it. They've been exceptionally cooperative with Nokia in the last year. The 928 even had xenon flash. I think that the 929 will have RAW.

I'm pretty sure this has been confirmed that the 1020 and the 1520 will do, I don't think it's been confirmed either way if the 929 would. I'd think not at the moment.

Nothing ever gets confirmed about the 929. Verizon phones are the black sheep of the Lumia family. But there's no reason to believe the phone that has the exact same internals as the 1520, minus the massive display, won't have any one feature that isn't related to the screen.

Verizon has actually been pretty good and also better for quicker updates for Nokia than att has been
