Has anyone noticed that when taking pictures in darker scenes that the flash ruins the picture by making it look more red than it should be ? I get this orange glow in all the pictures, with no flash it looks better and whites look more white without the orange tint. A wall that should be pitch white looks more dull and orange for example with flash, same goes for skin color. It feels like the flash is shooting amber out or something. Anyone else ?

It is the white balance. The Icon seems to do an OK job with auto-white balance. If it is too yellow, manually select the white balance. Try daylight. incandescent lights will really bring out a yellowish WB.
