    Hello all!
I'm not really sure if this is the right place to put this or not, but after trolling the Verizon Wireless Community Forums I've found that there is a petition for the release of Windows Phone 8.1 and Cyan. Please sign it if you will. http://www.thepetitionsite.com/957/5...e-cyan-update/

30 people ? Yea, that is not going anywhere any time soon. Verizon wouldn't even look at it unless there was like 10,000 people signing it...

Every successful petition had 30 signatures at some point.

Yea, I signed it too but, Knowing people have done this in the past (Android updates) and Verizon never even would look at them nor, even say they looked at it..

At this point, I just hope something works and they release the darn thing...

Interesting I signed at the number stayed at 40, but my name appeared. Maybe it only shows up in 10 name increments.

or the counter is slow. It says 41 now.

There are more pages of posts in the http://forums.windowscentral.com/nok...cyan-icon.html thread than there are signatures on this petition.

The best petition is to leave the carrier. I was on Verizon for 12 years but just didn't see any commitment to WP. Stop giving them your business. I've been on AT&T for the past three years and have never been happier. Good luck.

    Petitions are, generally, auto eroticism.

And online petitions? Ha ha ha ha...

Corporate America doesn't give a damn what your or 10,000 other customers think.

Yes, but at a MUCH faster rate. Plus with the 3% of smartphone users that us WP that's going to take forever.

Maybe someone realized that having signatures from people who could never be Verizon customers wasn't helping?

Love my Icon....convinced 2 other people to get it......not surprised only 104 signatures........I bet they sold a few hundred thousand of these in the country........anotherwords - its on the backburner. Its a shame really, it is such a great device, but until Windows Phone doesn't have the "no apps" stigma, we are going to be stuck in this 3-5% market share, and no support from carriers. Which makes absolutely no sense whatsoever, but my thinking here is that the less amount of operating systems Verizon supports, the less overhead tech support they have. That being said, Windows devices should have light years better track record as far as tech support than for all those crappy android phones that Verizon sells - you know, the LG Enact's, of the world that truly define the term "lagdroid"
