Well at the very least it means someone was looking at/messing with this page in some fashion. At this point waiting for denim is like waiting for a new Tool album or like the previous poster said a new Half Life game.

We will never know if we are going to get it. and when we do it will drop quickly and with force, and probably not live up to the hype.

It's best to not think about it :P

Probably a cache on your browser/computer. It was dead for me on Chrome/IE on two different PC's and my phone.

I'm surprised at the lack of response to Microsoft pulling the Icon sales page from the Microsoft Store website.

Here's my conversation with a Microsoft sales rep. Of course, online sales reps rarely have the full story. But this is notable. Either the update is coming very soon, or not soon at all.

info: Thank you for choosing Microsoft Store. An Answer Tech (Microsoft sales specialist) will be with you shortly.
    info: Privacy Statement

You are now chatting with 'Name Removed for Anonymity Purposes'.

Rep: Thanks for contacting Microsoft Store Chat, my name is ____! How can I help you today?
You: Hi ____ - I'm looking at Windows Phones at the Microsoft Store website and I do not see the Lumia Icon.
You: I was wondering where it went?
Rep: I would be happy to assist you with you Windows questions today!
Rep: It looks like we no longer sell it.
    You: What do you mean?
Rep: It means it no sold on this site.
    You: What about in store?
Rep: Unfortunately, we have no information on physical stores stock, policies or their prices.
You: Do you know if there will be more Icon's sold in the future on the website?
Rep: My apologies, but we do not have that information.
You: Do you know why it's no longer being sold? it's not even a year old.
Rep: We are not given that information.
Also, I don't remember the last time the Lumia Icon was listed on the Verizon's website as "Free on Contract" as it is right now. Even if the page it links to isn't available.

Flawed hardware. Weak WiFi, laggy screen with no glance, poor battery life, poor low light photos/videos. Microsoft/Verizon realized there was not much they could do, and also retired the phone. Good riddance. Hopefully we will see a worthy flagship on Verizon sometime soon, and not this nonsense. Nokia didnt deliver on this phone. Released a phone with flawed hardware, which does not work properly, or does not work together. Reminds me of the N97 in 2008: updating firmware didnt help much.

Glance won't be fixed, but the battery issue is due to running 8.1 with Lumia black. My wifi is fine, and the camera is the best I've seen. It's a great phone, that's why Microsoft rereleased it worldwide as the 930.

I'd have a very hard time buying another flagship Windows phone. Can't see myself buying another phone that gets "forgotten" so soon after release.

Hanging on to a little bit of hope for the update...

I most likely will be buying a flagship WP after my current contract is up but I don't ever see myself buying a flagship WP ever again on Verizon

I'm not going to let the miserable way VZ has treated the Icon and WP change how much I enjoy the WP platform

My stock Icon has great WiFi, a responsive screen, decent battery life and takes great photos. Sure, low light is difficult for it on auto, but using manual settings with some know-how goes a long way. You'll never get low light performance of a modern dslr with a high ISO setting. The sensor is just too small.

This sounds like trolling when compared to my experience with the Icon.

Then I think at least 2 of us got lucky on our Icons, because I'm on DP8.1 on my Icon and battery life is quite good (my yardstick is more than 24 hrs w/heavy usage), manual camera settings allow better than decent low light shots, and the screen response is exceptional (except for waking up the start screen, which I'm expecting to be fixed when/if the firmware is higher than "Black"). Wifi is better than iPhone6, comparing to fellow sufferers in multiple hospital waiting rooms.

Or, as you said, that post could be just a troll.
