4k recording

Has anyone tried 4k video recording? also I want to make sure I have it set up right, is there a 4k option, or do you use the 2160/30fps resolution for 4k?

I believe that 2160p option is indeed 4K.
fps doesn't matter in terms of whether something is 4K or not, but its another parameter.

Yup, 2160p is 4k.

Technically 4K is 4096*2160 an 2160p or UHD is 3840*2160.

Yes, 2160 is 4K. I've used it and the quality is amazing. The problem is that it eats up space really freakin' fast! Also, you can hold the camera button down and it automatically will start recording 4K. The nice thing about it is that now you can open it in moment capture and select the best frame for an image or make an action shot where you can select up to three frames to include in one picture.

Second that on eating up space quickly. Almost makes me wish I had a 1520 with the SD slot
