Unable to download updates

Lately, I've been having a problem with updates from the Store. I get halfway through with the update process, and it stops. I get "app needs attention" notification, and that's it. My phone is up to date as far as firmware. Does anyone know how to fix this?

How much space do you have remaining on your phone?

Are you downloading via wifi or data?

Thanks for the response. Via Wi-Fi. I have over 19 GB available on the phone. That was one of the first things I checked.

A couple more:

Is this all apps or just specific ones? If so, which specific apps?

How is your wifi connection, and have you tried downloading with data to see if that makes a difference?

Have you tried a soft reset? To do so, just hold down the power button for about 10 seconds, or until the phone vibrates.

If you tap on the "needs attention" where does it take you? does it ask you for credentials/permission etc?

Problem solved! Soft reset did the trick. Last thing I would have thought of. Who knew it could be so simple? Thanks to those who responded!!!!!

And sometimes you have to be firm with it... Like...you know... threatening it with a hammer.
