Was browsing on my phone and received a ransom message to unlock. Message said I would have to call a number and pay by card. I know this is a phishing scam or something so I got the window closed off. Do I need to worry about malware? Or virus?

So far there are no know viruses/malware for Windows Phone, although it is probably theoretically possible. What you're seeing is probably the front page of a website. Even if the website is dangerous, it would likely only affect Windows machines.

You're safe. What you ran into is the equivalent of a random person running up to you on the street and screaming about how you have cancer and they can cure you for only $400.
