Jack honey is my favorite. I even love using it with some juice. So sweet :)

From the answers it is quite obvious we've got a lot of North Americans here :)

When it comes to whisky, I'll stick with the Scott's, but cheers anyway, no matter what your poison!

I haven't tried a lot of Scotch. I have had me some of the Glenlivet before and quite enjoyed it. Bourbon is more accessible, and cheaper around here too. :)

I have tried Scotch but just didn't care for it much.

I do prefer bourbon or Tennessee whisky. Maker's Mark is pretty good too.

I also like Bushmill's Irish whisky.

Forty Creek is my go to rye whiskey. No love for Canadian whiskey here is seems. Single malt for Scotch, and any bourbon other than that pisswater Jim Beam.

I had Jim bean devils cut 45 % and it was ok. Johnnie walker black is much more smoother than devils cut.

The Scots have over a hundred different distilleries. Most of them distill multiple brands. Depending on the region, their products are VERY different. I don't enjoy all Scottish single malts either, but some I would classify as the most noble beverages in existence.

I've always wondered what the term "scotch" really means (only really hear it in U.S. films). I assume it means "any whisky distilled in Scotland" (which I find rather pointless given the variety). Is that true, or do you guys have one particular product you call "scotch"?

Ballantine's is the brand I tried and disliked.
