    ok, what is the strangest thing you have ever eaten? Go!

    for me, whole baby squid. great flavor but the feel of chewing on rubber bands.

    I had aligator once too. Your description pretty much sums it up though.

    Tonight though I went to a Czech restaraunt for a formal function. They served Liver balls in beef broth. I braved myself and tried it. Flavor was ok but it was tough as could be. might be weirder then the whole squid thing, not really sure at this point though.

    I didn't notice anything odd about it. When beef soup is prepared, there is blood anyway, even if actual blood is not part of the stock. The marrow in the bones contains blood.

    yeah, that's definitely odd. I am not a fan of pork rinds. I'll stick with Bacon.

    I saw Reba McEntire in concert during the late 90s. She told a story about how she got an unsuspecting TV host to try Rocky Mountain Oysters. The TV show host said how much he liked them and asked what they were. She told him, "bull's balls," and she said that he almost lost his lunch at that point.

    Yeah, had tripe too... disgusting.

    I've also had fried grasshopper... crunchy... didn't care for the legs though... hairy.

    I could deal with maggots, but not with bulls balls not with brain.. Ugh.

    If you look here under Animal Health, a lot of pet food gets recalled for Salmonella, so I wouldn't try it. :D
