I have a Lumia 920 which I love. When I purchased the 920 I thought I could continue to use my old Samsung Focus as a backup phone in case 920 dies/lost. But the 920 uses a micro sim card while Focus uses a standard card. I thought I could get a micro-sim-to-sim adapter but the one I acquired from Amazon was for slider/tray kind of sim slots--didn't work in Focus. Also, user reviews seem to complain about sim adapters and there are even horror stories of damage to phones.

So what are my options? If there are reliable adapters then please suggest those. If not then I am thinking about either getting another **cheap** Windows phone or an Android phone as backup, which use the micro sim cards--any recommendations on these?

Recommended backup phone: One of the other Lumias (820/900 notwithstanding). They'll be cheap as chips nowadays.

Thanks. In case of a backup phone route, I am specifically looking for phones (WinPho or Android) below $100 with micro sim slots. I really don't care about conditions so long as the phone and data works. Where could I get those from?
