Password protected Word documents secure?

I had a text file containing the username and passwords for all the different websites that I visit (I know you shouldn't write down this stuff but I've no chance of remembering it). Some of these are sensitive to me, particularly financially. Realising the security risk, I've simply (being a cheapskate) transferred these to a password protected Word document. Am I secure now, or do I need a more robust solution?

There always a risk either in a secure file, the best way is to remember the usernames and passwords by heart.

To make it more secure have a password on the device you store the information or either encrypt the file.

Or you could download a app that does encryption and could be back up to SkyDrive. I use one called sky wallet and could be found in the store. It's a great app I have used for over 2 years, also it has a desktop's app for the PC. It does come with a price $3.99 but is well worth it. Check it out and good luck.
