    Hi all,

Looking for some help. I am having to go to London on 19th of May. Need the cheapest possible place to stay that is safe. Don't want robbing and need a good sleep.

Seen an Easy Hotel on the net for 25ish. Has anyone ever stayed in one of them and was it ok? The reviews on the net seem to lurch first om "what do you expect for that price" to "it was hell, never again".

I need to be near Regent Street.

Cheers. I looked at some of them. I may just catch a train and have a gander when I get there.

Might as well just beware of the thousand coffee shops you will pass.

There some great sight like the massive park, Buckingham palace I think that where the queen lives.

Yeah, I have been before. Also been to some odd coffee shops but that was further East. I think they called it Netherlands.

Sound like a nice coffee shop would they serve tea by chance?

They might, I saw some leaves, not sure if they were tea leaves though.

Best looking just on outskirts for cheap hotels, as more central it gets more expensive. If you are staying for a bit, invest in a oyster card (minimum is 5 when you get one, this stays on the card to be used) makes traveling around a lot cheaper

There for 1 night only. The annoying thing is the day, Sunday. No trains from where I live, hence the hotel.

Travelodge is a very cheap (relatively speaking) hotel in Central London. The one at Covent Garden is a ~15 minute walk to Oxford Circus (Regent Street). It is very safe (as is most of Central London).
