    I recently published my new extension on the chrome web store. It's called Modern New Tab Page. It replaces the standard "new tab" page by a new totally customizable one, based on the Windows 8 design.

    I'd love if you give it a try and post some feedback here. It's totaly free. If you like it, please don't forget to rate!

    Wow, it looks really good. Just a quick question , is it possible to include widgets in your extension like the image below? (its actually Awesome new Tab page, but I am bored with it).

    weather, gmail etc could be a few widget types

    Yes, it's absolutely possible. I have lots ideas for future updates, and widgets is definitely one of the ideas. You can expect a lot of new features coming.
