Some 920s suffer from horrible batteries and issues with cameras. It's basically a beta phone.
I have a friend who got two of those on ATT and finally ditched WP for an iPhone..

My dad doesn't know much about wireless charging. I'd have to get him a stand for the bedroom and his office in the house for him to enjoy the convenience of it.

Storage is the thing. What may happen is that my step mother will take over his phone because the camera is good and take a ton of pictures. I'd like him to have more storage because I don't think he will pull pictures and videos as much from the phone.

Is he good with PCs? Does he have W7 or W8? Show him how to back up things on PC and get him to delete. 16GB is still pretty large for taking pictures. Videos on the othe hand.

That is what I thought as well, I had a Rogers Lumia 920 unlocked which I sold for $240 including the wireless charging stand, hey that was cheaper than the Newgg deal!

I have had neither with my 920. I don't consider it a beta at all.

My dad is good with PCs. So he could manage the 16GB if he backs up the photos and videos alot and not keep anything else on it.

I had a lot of apps and photos on my phone and never broke 16GB. It will take a lot to fill.

Personally, I like the 925 more than the 920. Always have. But, having owned a 920 I have great respect for it.

I've owned a 920 for over a year now. I'm getting a yellow tint at the top of the LCD display. My battery barely makes through 7 hours. I'm starting to think my mobile/wifi is going dodgy. The camera is the only thing left going for it really.

I'm glad you and other have had a great experience. I haven't. I'm waiting for the L920 replacement. Until then I'll deal with my defects.

Guess we'll find out around April or June about the replacements. Should be interesting.
