Why did Microsoft have to show threshold at Build?! Now I'm almost disliking the update because it doesn't have all the features that they showed before with threshold on Build day 1.
I blame people who wanted the start menu ;)

They added more things to windows 8.1 because people wanted the start menu and context menus >.>

Oh. I know there's probably more in the update that I don't remember hearing about or didn't get to see yet, but how does that relate to 2 more gigabytes?

Adding more lines of code to the existing OS or run disk clean up :p

Oh. I'm learning C# from Bob Tabor's videos on Channel 9 and I guess I didn't realize that yet from all the small-scale programs I write alongside the video for learning/experience.

Is anyone noticing faster battery drainage with update 1? It could just be from my bad judgment of time & not noticing that the time's flying by customizing the start screen and taskbar to be more convenient with the update's features, but I'm losing 40% (50% at 4:00 to 10% at almost 6:00) since the update started installing on Windows 8.1.

Wow that's a big sentence.

I should probably stop writing on-topic posts in the most off-topic thread. But I think it's better than accidentally making a new thread similar to an existing one.
