So you want Windows RT because it is limiting you?

Maybe Microsoft should use this for commercials: "You can buy an inexpensive Atom tablet with all the functions of Windows RT and all the functions of Windows 7, but you should not as you have this already on your computer, you should buy a more expensive ARM tablet which limits you in every way!"

    Maybe this would work.
Yes right on the nail if apple can do it so can MS! :P

Does the T100 have a Full HD?

No, it does not. The specs aren't too great, it is really made to be inexpensive.

And no, time has proven many time, Apple can do it, Microsoft can't.

I think MS has an image problem that Apple is adopting. Hopefully MS will be able to shake it eventually. I think they need to start promoting things differently. I honestly think these 'tech' release conferences are old school and maybe they should start doing things differently. They should start making better commercials to. I don't own an RT so I can't say what it can do and can't. I don't know why you would want one, that's one of the reasons why I can't get excited about RT. I already feel somewhat underwhelmed by WP I don't want to add a tablet to that too.

I always believe in buying what works for you. If WP and MS don't cut it then get something else. Simple. Not going to hate you for it. :P

Bay Trail is more than just a step up from its predecessor; it’s a new beginning for Atom. With the ability to play real games, decode 4K video, output at higher-than-HD resolutions and use less more doing so, this new platform insures that Intel’s low-cost chip provides a user experience that’s anything but cheap. Users who want to do more serious productivity, content creation or first person shooting may want a more expensive, bulkier device with Intel’s 4th Generation Core Series “Haswell” chip. However, for most users, a Bay Trail tablet should provide the ultimate mix of power, portability and affordability.
Sounds good to me. (I don't know the source though: Intel Bay Trail Benchmarks: Double the Speed, Triple Graphics Power )

Well, let's just wait for the reviews of the Surface 2 and the review of the T100, and then we will be able to decide what really is better. And in October the new Nokia tablet will most likely be presented too. :)

IT technician? I don't think so, I prefer science :)

To make more money in IT you need to be a specialist. Being a jack of all trades doesn't work. Same goes for my field. Some do ok as a jack of all trades but typically when you get to my level they want you to be more specific. That's why I'm a senior electrical designer, not just a 'designer'. Though I have knowledge and experience in instrumentation and communications they aren't my main fields.

A good IT person should be well rounded but at the same time specific about what they want to do.

It's like most professions. A GP for example only gets paid so much. Whereas a Specialist MD makes more. It's the same everywhere.
