My eyes aren't too bad. It's more for driving during nights and recognizing faces.

Actually, I had almost bought some very fancy glasses, but they had a special shape and would have been very expensive. So I settled for a more basic model. Still expensive enough, you'd get a Lumia 1020 for the same price ;-)
What! A 1020 for the price of a pair of glasses 👓, how come? :amaze: Here the 1020 is 35,000INR and a pair of lenses cost 1,000INR/16.6$ to 5000 INR... That's almost a difference of 34,000INR or 560$approx, if 1 dollar/franc=60 rupees. Didn't know that lenses were so costly in Switzerland. :amaze:

Edit- just saw your later post ✉. I typed all this for nothing lol

Until 2011? 😲 It must have been bought in 2002,no? Wow I bet a smartphone wouldn't last that much! 😔.

How much time does it take to boot with the SSD? My 7 year old PC takes precisely 5 sec, including the splash screen, and quick startup turned on.

It was bought in 2003 or 2004, not sure.
I have no idea job long exactly that to boot, the screen is bottle neck, when screen turns on the computer is already on lock screen. So also about 5s.

The frame costs 120 Swiss Francs, the glasses cost around 170 each. And those are glasses from one of the cheapest stores. Yeah, Switzerland is expensive.

The Lumia 1020 costs 449.-

re: WC 100K Post Challenge - You Ready?!

I remember playing Taxi on my father's Commodore 64 :)

Well, it wasn't my first PC, but my dad had a Ti994a that I used to play with... I have no idea what year he got it, but I remember getting a book and getting myself into programming with it at a young age.

Later, when I was in highschool, I think my dad had a 486 DX 2 @ 33 MHz.
