Nah leave it open and just bump the number on the title - no point closing it and going for 5k in a new thread as then it will be technically 6K including this thread.

I would like to continue on this thread and just edit the beginning to make it 5k then we don't have to start back at 0 post then when we get to 5k, I just edit it again for 100k.

Its not a game - its more like a chat room - not everything has to be a competition.
