That is a swell idea, they might just start clamoring for "Trump roast" as a dish across the pond...a side accompaniment to fish and chips!
They were debating banning Trump from coming here. Not sure where that got to yet.

Now that's no way to treat fish and chips.

You should also know that the British have buttered bread and tea with their fish and chips. Then there's mushy peas if you're so inclined.

Also you can decide if your having tea, dinner or lunch. I've given up...

That looks like the same story I read before. Almost.

Still a bit weird. Why not just say what the issue is?
Rumor has it that the patent for the scanner is a US company and they don't want to go through the hassle...

Nope, that means you may have an unexplained skill...kinda like the guy who knows how to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory...or who gets his in own way...it's a skill to be modified, not perfected...

You DO realize there's a car underneath...an expensive one at that...and you're willing to risk a bigger repair bill at the auto shop by using a FLAMETHROWER to dig the car out?

That's a special kind of lazy there...Sarah Palin level lazy...

I was reading an article about what they plan to do with all the snow there. They mentioned something about burning the snow. Would be nice if they brought the snow to the west cost

I would ask how burning snow led to you thinking about using a flame thrower to dig a car out, but I'm not Mensa level genius to understand the thought process...

You actually need to "stoop to conquer" in your Mensa level in this particular case.

There are places every winter that get that kind of snow or more.

When I was kid that was a typical winter in Toronto.

Not too long ago I remember a big snow storm we had in Toronto that the amount of snow created snow banks higher than cars so driving around was interesting.

Sahib only has history left, whatever algebra he learnt he has long forgotten, if he can remember the past accurately he will not have any issues passing history this semester

He should just go a few miles to the East in the Sierra's, they usually get lots of snow except last year!

Well technically you don't want it to melt and freeze. That just makes lots of ice..

If we ever had anything like that over here I'd be off work for weeks... This whole place would come to a standstill. They simply wouldn't cope.

Our public transport stops with the slightest disturbances so a lot of people would be stranded. The roads wouldn't be cleared for days... It would be stormageddon here. The kids would love it of course. ๐Ÿ˜œ

American history is somewhat dull. Hopefully he has a good teacher.

I took American history back in high school. I got a good grade. I imagine our learning of it was probably different than what pupils learn in the US. Still, it wasn't as good as thought it would be. I did get bored but managed to slog through it.

I didn't take US history in university, but I took history of western civilization. My professor was a British guy who moved to the US. The course was very interesting.

Unfortunately I went to an engineering school for undergraduate studies an no general study courses were offered to us! Only science, math and basic engineering classes from the get go...
