The interesting thing about Switzerland is, that we have a very well connected net of larger cities and smaller cities in between. If you are in Zurich you can reach Basel, Bern or Lucerne within an hour, Lausanne in 2 hours and Geneva in 2 and a half. Trains will leave for these cities every half hour.

I think that's quite amazing.

Edit: I think posting this past the 1000 post mark makes it invalid.
