As a molecular biologist of course I didn't have to learn the real math like physicists, still I think I could teach the kids here one thing or another. ;-)

What's made it difficult for me to want to do more education in engineering or physics is that all the math has gone to matrices and I never learned that in school or college so I need a good refresher course which I never seem to find.

It's a lie that there's no math in biology.

It's just on another level than in physics or even chemistry, except if you do something like computational biology.
