Re: WPC 30K Post Challenge - You Ready?!

Just finished watching a documentary about DPRK. I find this country really fascinating. People there are just like we are, I wouldn't even say they are scared of Kim Jong Un. They are just being indoctrinated since early childhood, so they hardly believe everything they say about their country and beloved country authorities.
I would like to trip in there to experience their culture. I wouldn't criticize them, I would try to understand instead of slandering North Korea over and over. Watching this documentary I have felt a breeze of socialism, those buildings, streets, almost no cars on the streets.... Military Parades, shows in the theaters, everything runs like a clockwork. I'm really impressed with this video and.... eh no words to describe, just there is a heart-touching moment around 52min. Everyone who decide to watch, will understand what I have felt seeing this (of course if he/she watched full movie, not just went to 52min) :)

Here is the link: DPRK: The Land Of Whispers (North Korea Travel Documentary) (2013) - YouTube
I watched it and I still feel sorry for them MINUS the part of them not knowing the iPhone or google :p

Thanks for watching :p I wish I didn't know what is google/smartphone... Using google makes us dumb, because we don't have to think as much as before, we just put a few letters and google finds everything for us. Sometimes I want to type something, just put 1-2 letters and google knows what I wanted to find, what I am possibly looking for or what I would like to see. That prevents me from longer thinking... I wish that young people did know what is respect, patriotism, family, motherland, real friendship, cooperation.... They might be poor in there, but at least they are not plagued by technology. I'm not against technological progress, but many of us don't know how to take advantages of it. Parents are giving expensive gifts like smartphones, tablets, pc's instead of real love like: hugs, kisses or just a priceless..... conversation. I've decided to "log off" the internet in 2014 because I see I'm slowly becoming one of those who I used to criticize. Already got Twitter/Vine. Thank god I don't have Snapchat or Instagram because I would waste much more time. :) I just know how all this **** can make interpersonal relationships weaken if not used properly.
When I see young kids around my hood taking pics to Instagram or checking smartphone notifications during meeting with friends I'm getting worried. :p I'm not jealous, I used to have good childhood, quite attractive and entertaining, and I would like them to experience a few unforgettable adventures (trips) with mates as I did :p thats all.

i agree that they aren't plaged with tech and it seems that use their heads in in creativity like that parade with just colored card :O that's pretty cool when i look at it. now if they had tech i would be wondering what they could use it for :D. but right now we on the western world all we care is (well the teens in my age group or maybe younger) tech or the most expensive things just to show it off and later get board of it o.o. but as for me i dont have vine/ twitter/ intagram/facebook/ snapchat because im too cool for that

I mean come on, people can live without all those goodies, and many of young people are living "for show". I'm not old, I always didn't care as much about clothes, phone or money, I was raised that way and I thank my parents for that. I'm not crying here because people didn't like me, I had a good mates and I gained them with my personality, even that I had nothing more to impress them - (no big house, no newest computer/games, phone, money) And today... Young people with great personality who has no money and no gaming console/tablet/pc/phone/fashionable clothes are isolated. Of course I'm not talking its everywhere and always, but happens quite often.

I watched one too a while ago, it amazes me how most of their people love the leader.

yeah, that is!! Portraits of: Kim Ir Sen, Kim Jong Il and Kim Jong Un are everywhere - subway wagons, houses, theaters! Those interviews with North Korean citizens or soldiers - they all believe in something what is ridiculous for us when we hear it. e.g. US with their 'South Korean puppet' started Korean War in '50s! That's incredible. :p

Edit: No politics here, so I decided to remove this part of my post as it was not North Korea related:)

PS. I really love propaganda that when Kim Jong Il was born, birds started to sing and there was a double rainbow haha :)
