- why is the topic I chose important?
- who does it impact?
- who does it impact people legally and socially?
- what do I want you learn from it I never knew before?
- how can the issues in the topic be addressed?
- what have others done to address those issues?

Yup, those kind of questions you need to ask so you don't spin your wheels or ramble needlessly when you write...

Just remember, you cannot use Wikipedia as a source. You cannot use Youtube unless it is an actual documentary, not some dude giving an opinion. Shoot for 5 references. Cite correctly. That should give you 10 pages worth of stuff, including your own thoughts.
