You guys have to admit, it is a really sleek machine. It does look like a trash can, but the specs and quality inside this machine are pretty amazing, even though it does run OS X. But it can boot camp.

Apple actually bragged about the cooling system. It is actually quite excellent. The design is amazing, made in the US, small, and excellent and high quality specs. It isn't a machine everyone will buy, only to those who need to do video editing in 4k, etc.

The expendability and possibility to upgrade is a joke. It's just a laptop with amazing specs incredibly overpriced.

But you are right, there will be enough people loving this thing.

but i thought a person who can build one wouldn't buy one and if you are buying a pc that can do hard core editing, wouldn't they already have computer knowledge too?

It's a desktop, not a laptop. Lol. And you can expand certain things, like the RAM. It is a beautiful machine though. But I'm not rich like that, so...

Never said workstation pcs are bad. Just the mac pro is good too. People did the math, and you don't really save any money trying to do the same specs the Mac Pro has, but in a PC. And some of the stuff the PC didn't have that the mac pro had, as some stuff were apple exclusive stuff.

But just to let you know, a workstation PC, while powerful and capable, isn't a gaming PC. Their cards are different, etc. So I'm not talking about gaming on the mac pro.

And yes, PC has good editing too, with Premiere Pro.
