I've disabled all the apps I don't want to be able to run in the background. I'm also very aware I'm constantly playing with my phone so I know battery usage will be lower. It just concerns me at the moment.

very bad, Me Tile, People and bing weather tile are not transperent.
had to move them down, to get clear view of wallpaper.

Yes i can't change my language to US because it doesn't remove the UK English :/ wonder if it's specific to HTC

You don't need to remove UK English, you just need to add US.

My Spotify is working fine.

Glad you are happy. I am happy too as long as I have WiFi, then I can use the great and regularly updated iPad app.

However I have an option from my provider that I can stream Spotify with my cell phone for free. Unfortunately the WP app doesn't offer radio, and the music I listen often to is available offline on the iPad and the phone. So this is pretty much for nothing. That it's slow and a pain to use on WP I can live with.

It can't be unset as phone language. That's probably the problem. Should have taken US instead of UK when I got it back

What do you have set as the phone language? You can add phone languages to the phone and then set them as default.

I noticed a typo on your 'Official' Bugs and defects thread in the OP... You missed the 'y' in 'battery'....

What do you have set as the phone language? You can add phone languages to the phone and then set them as default.

That's we are trying to say, it doesn't work on the 8X ;-)

I tried the three column layout but I found the tiles too small for me. Oh well. I'm happy with two. I don't overload my Start screen anyway.
