Then why did you even take architecture,to begin with????

Everyone I know who studies architecture has their own "batcave", but they never leave it. They just lurk there, drawing and gluing pieces of cardboard and plastic to present as prototypes of their ideas to a jury of professors. At least that's what happens here.

I did and apprenticeship as an architectural draftsman and liked it. Going to a technical university to study architecture was just the logical step. I knew I need to do a higher education to keep my brain entertained, even though back then I was still a lazy slacker. But different to the more technical aspects of the apprenticeship, I just couldn't get into the artsy architecture stuff.

It just didn't work out. But it's still part of my life and an experience I wouldn't want to miss. It made me realize that working hard to reach something can be very satisfactory, and biology seems to be much more my talent.

It was the same for me. Almost. I studied part-time so I was working in an actual architectural office next to the university.
