hold up hold up hold up.... apple said that OS X mavericks is the fasted adopted OS ever o.o . but when I look at the user base of mac os x they are only 40 mill while a few years back windows had 1.25 billion windows users which would make that windows 8 would have more users than OS x . already I can see people saying os x is the fast growing computer OS

People say all the time that Windows Phone is the fastest growing OS. That's mostly due to the fact that if you sell one phone and the month after two phones, you have a growth of 100 %, while if you sell 50 million phones and then 55 million phones, it's only a growth of 10 %.

I guess I take it for granted that I have dark skin so I don't get summed burned as easily but I always put sun screen ^.^. how is your trip going?

Very good. I went to a very interesting place I've been wanting to go to for many years on my birthday yesterday.

What does that statement even mean? Why would you want to do that?

to show how "many" users are using win 8 opposed to win7, win xp. apple was stating that OS X had an adoption rate faster than win 8. they said that 40 mill updated to OS X

yeah as of April 2014 windows 8 has 12.24 % market share while OS X has 7.64

If you want user base on 1.25 billion. You take that number and multiply it by the percentage in decimal form, so .1224 which gets you approximately 153,000,000

There are probably more Apple focused pages than Windows Phone focused pages. When believing people who use terms like "Apple zombies", every tech blog out there is a Apple focused pages: "They are so mean to Windows Phone, they only love Apple, bad blogs, bad blogs!"

Okaaay.... I must just be tired but I don't get any of that.

Anyways, why does iMore have such little comments on their articles? Does WPCentral really have a l larger reader base? I'm so confused...
