Before this I only had 4GB RAM, a graphics card with 1GB Ram that was about 5/6 years old and a normal 1tb hard drive with the first generation i5. It had no specialised cooling and was middle of the road when I got it.

Ok but curious as to why you didn't opt for a dual monitor setup(now)? :-o Will be more productive for graphic designing,no?

Sahib, is the dual monitor setup really good as compared to a very large monitor/TV? Thinking of hooking up the 32 inch tv to my rig, only with/without my current 17 inch is the question

Sahib, is the dual monitor setup really good as compared to a very large monitor/TV? Thinking of hooking up the 32 inch tv to my rig, only with/without my current 17 inch is the question

I use dual monitors all the time at work. I would like to have 3-4 at work. It sort of depends what you plan to use your compute for. I really miss not using dual at home.

I hate Google+ too, dunno why Google still keeps that service. It's kind of like a forced usage of their service, at least that's how I feel. The co founder of YouTube, who uploaded the first ever YouTube video, left YouTube because he had to join Google+ to comment on his video.

I hate Google+ too, dunno why Google still keeps that service. It's kind of like a forced usage of their service, at least that's how I feel. The co founder of YouTube, who uploaded the first ever YouTube video, left YouTube because he had to join Google+ to comment on his video.

I was one of the persons who joined Google+ with an invite....then deleted the account before it became public! It sucks!! Period! And it is just forcing us to use that service to review its apps!! Lame! I don't think anyone else uses that thing! Even YouTube is becoming so!

I do have a dual monitor setup. My second monitor is currently a 42" tv at 1920x1080 but I'm planning to change this soon. Definitely need a second monitor for my workflow.

Anyway, so WP is down, harsh, on only 2,5% which is horrible. They better put L530, 730and 830 on the market soon, if they are planning to wait like they did with L930... It's not going to end well. If doesn't go up in next quarter in packing my suitcases to Google.

I say its way better because think about it. with 2 monitors in windows you can open 8 windows compared to 4 windows. I don't like single monitors anymore XD

It's a dismal situation, mostly due to no real hardware releases and slow moving OS updates. Turns people off. Simple. Now MS has to work harder... great.

No,I like people who are creative, differently innovating(at least more than the others) and are not a one trick pony(Apple). I think MS nailed it for me with live tiles, start screen background with a parallax effect, folders, fast updates, file explorer, and WP 8.1. Apps also is not a problem in India anymore. So I see no reason as to why I should go after anything else.

The only Google service I use is youtube, tho only because a major portion of the population uses it. There is nothing special about the service, and I only wish google hadn't bought it. Dailymotion/ Vimeo can be a competitor in the future tho.
