They kind of remind me of the French company "Peugeot". They started with saws, then pepper mills, then bikes, and finally cars.

Opel started with many things to . And Peugeot still makes pepper mills.

So...back in town from AC. Short trip, but very nice. Didn't win in the casino...didn't spend much money in there either. We hit the steakhouse restaurant we went to for my birthday and got through the Texas stampede just fine this go round. Got me some new shoes and a few clothes. Got the GF a sweater and some workout gear as a early birthday present.

All in all, a good time.

Anyone remembers that Nokia used to build mobile phones? Sure you do, they did until April this year.
But does anyone remember that Nokia used to make car Tyrees? It was the same brand up to 1988. Than it was separated and named Nokian. Now we have it . See, this is what they did before mobile phones. The HQ is still in town called Nokia .

I've been to Nokia town. It's just outside Tampere, Finland's second largest city. My wife has relatives there.

Nokia also made boots and other rubber products. They also made bullets and guns I believe.

I've been to Nokia town. It's just outside Tampere, Finland's second largest city. My wife has relatives there.

Nokia also made boots and other rubber products. They also made bullets and guns I believe.

I'm at the train station and there's an army guy (we're not far from an army base) with a dog. It's a pug. The guy is dressed in camo and the dogs colouring looked like it. Cute.

I have to say I'm not overly fond of the 1020 or soon to be released 830 styling. That's one of the reasons why I never looked at the 1020 as something I wanted. The bulge thing is a bit ugly. But that's my personal taste.
