I figured as much. I guess since Europe is smaller than the us you can go to different countries which gives the illusion that you travel far and wide .

Europe (not including Russia) is not that much smaller than the US. The main difference is that there are different countries, languages and cultures within a very short distance of each other. If you include Russia, Europe is significantly larger than the US.

To give an example though. For me to fly to southern Spain takes about three hours. That's like flying from Toronto to southern Florida. The main differences for me are the flight costs

I can also drive in Europe as well. Similar to doing a road trip in the US.

Driving, yes. Flying, no. Three hours flying north east and you're half way to Toronto.

It's only four hours drive from LA to Las Vegas.

It's very loud indeed. I had to install soundproof windows and doors in my house last year, just kidding
Still, how'd you tolerate continuous banging even at midnight sharp at 12:01 AM??
