sometimes I wonder if people are selfish and thinking about themselves

There is no Lumia for me and that's why I'm ranting. They have Lumia 530, 630,635,730 and 735 alone and then you have billion of El cheapo WPs from other manufacturers. And I get nothing on WP. At the end of last year I was feeling this would be the best year for WP, it's worse than 2012 and 2013.

So is in the us that I can buy in a carrier ? If not then I don't see how it beats it

Wait you gave you me specs .... I said a phone that has mics that don't distort .... Don't give me specs because I don't care for numbers and some consumers think that way .

FHD Wow much clearer ...yeah 1080 is enough . And I Can add a 128 SD card .... *sigh * numbers and specs seem pointless to me

My L625 has less than 1 sec to open WhatsApp. 2 sec for Line and 5sec for BBM. Twitter only took 3sec while facebook 4 sec.

My Lumia 800 faster of it's own. Open WhatsApp instantly same with twitter and 2 sec for Facebook.

So did the chip really matter huh

I agree with getting the best specs on a high end phone but low end is all about how good the OS is optimized. the better it is optimized the less specs it needs to run which means cheaper phones for consumers .

I've never complained about the 530 having only 512MB of RAM. Yes, it's all about optimization, I agree. To me, the 530 is damn great at its price. Only dumb guys rant for 1GB on a phone at a price like that. But what about the 630? Cost more for almost nothing better, am I wrong?

I've never complained about the 530 having only 512MB of RAM. Yes, it's all about optimization, I agree. To me, the 530 is damn great at its price. Only dumb guys rant for 1GB on a phone at a price like that. But what about the 630? Cost more for almost nothing better, am I wrong?

I would like to see more 1GB phone as of now ....I don't get why msft is putting 512mb on a phone make no sense . The 630 should of been better but sadly it wasn't :/ which kinda sucks

Yep, agreed. The 930 is damn outdated. The 730 and 830 aren't really outstanding at their price range. The 535 itself sounds great if priced right, but there have been too many low-end phones already. If only the 630 got that specs... MS is slapping 630 users right in the face... Sadly, I'm one of those unlucky guys.

535 is a good phone, it gets 1 Gb ram, ffc, flash etc. Much needed for a low end Lumia. Many told that MS should focus on low end devices(just to increase WPs market share), its exactly doing that. This year has been great for low end devices.

I know there have not been high end phones, probably because of 930.

Its only a month we got 930 in our country, when the whole world has it(when its outdated) Nokia was busy fixing those heating issues.

Also the 730/830 were leaked more than a year ago, but MS wasn't able to launch it as we were going to get WP 8.1 update, so its launch was delayed very much.

Next year would be good for high end devices as we'll be getting 1320, 1520, 1020 & hopefully 925 successor.
Also 630 users would be disappointed with 535, but the ones who were going to buy it, won't buy it now, they'll settle for 535. I really don't care if 630/530 sales are affected as they're already a huge success in my country, so coming up with 535 was a good move by MS, as far as low end devices are concerned.

I'm not precise enough but my 1320 has the same speed as 630(sometimes 1320 is better). I really don't find much difference between the two as far as speed is concerned.

I understand ppl in US getting phone via contact. But it's not same with other countries. For developing country we need to buy it at full price it's right there is some people that can afford buy flagship like 930 some other can afford 625 630 730 or 925. While the rest can only afford 530 520 and Nokia X.

This what MS aim. By increasing market share they push developer to develop apps doing so means more apps on store. Official apps getting better and when they release flagship devices it ready in both apps os and hardware

so essentially msft needs to find a balance between what people want. the spec people want a new updated phone every year while other people who want a phone that works every 2 years .... I guess that's not that bad o.o? right?

1+1 is flagship grade specs at Nexus 5 prices...whether it is the 16GB model for $299 or the 64GB model at $350. Truth be told, the 830 is a smaller 1520, hence the downgrade in processor and camera and RAM. Everything less is about the same. So yes, price point wise for their respect OSes, both the 1+1 and 830 are tremendous values for money.
