Re: WC 100K Post Challenge - You Ready?!

The only place I went, with snow is Snow City in Bangalore. It's a snow themed park, where they advertised the temperature varying from -5 to 5 C. It was some experience although artificial.
Maybe someday I'll get to experience the real thing!

If you want real snow you need to go to a cold climate in the winter. Either Russia, Scandinavia or Northern part of North America. January is typically the best month for snow. February is next.

Be sure to wear proper clothing. I wouldn't want to hear you having frostbite and losing some fingers or toes.

Man, it's funny how fickle my wants are.

A year and a half ago, I would've complained about the RAM on my 620.
Then, it was the speed of the processor.
Then, it was that blasted Other Storage.
Then, it was the battery life.
Then, it was how slow the processor was again.
Then it was the battery life again.
Then I broke it.
A few months later, I got the 630.
I then promptly complained to myself that the screen is crap, but I'll live with it.
The, it was the RAM again.
Then, it was the storage space.
Then, the screen got a deep (but beautiful) gash.
Then it was storage again.
Then it was RAM.
Then it was battery life.
Then it was back to storage.

Ah, fun times.

One thing's for sure:
I already consider 20?C cold, then you tell me to go somewhere subzero? Yeah, I probably wont. Not without a few layers of clothing.

Mornings.... Coffee time!

Morning Ed!

I had a friend when I was younger, his name was Edmund, German spelling. Anyway, we would call him Ed and he once said that when people call him that it often sounds like someone ran into a brick wall when calling his name. :p

Is your Ed short for anything?

It's 7C here but there's a cool wind. However the sun is shinning.. yeah it's the UK.. so makes it feel a bit warmer.
I'm inside, on a cool, dry evening, walking on a cold tiled floor, so ~21? feels a lot cooler than it should.

You live in Britain, right? How's the oil situation there?

(still laughing) really, in all of the 45 years that I've been on this earth, I've never heard that! Now it all makes sense! :D
